MY NEIGHBOR NECROMANCER #1 (Preview)

A curious and upbeat 12-year-old girl stumbles upon a cabin in the woods where she finds a friendly necromancer hiding with an ancient secret. But her presence has revealed his location and now she must learn to raise the dead herself to prevent the forces of evil from obtaining the ultimate power: the literal Hand of Death itself.

These are the first 6 pages of the comic showing both the inked and colored pages, and cover, from issue #1 of MY NEIGHBOR NECROMANCER. The video is time lapse of my process penciling and inking the first page.

This comic is the first in a series I’m working on with award-winning writer, Dillon Gilbertson, writer of Sweet Heart, Mandible, Anew, and Belsnickle in the Ringo! nominated YULE: Dreadful Tales for the Holiday Season; and colorist Luca Romano, the Italy-based, Comic Arts Award-nominated colorist of Nottingham from Mad Cave Studios, Grim Tales from the Cave, The Regulators, and Monarchs.

My Neighbor Necromancer #1 was successfully crowdfunded on Kickstarter.
We had an initial goal of $10k and had a final pledge amount of $10,783 with 347 backers!
